Ting
Established by Inghua Ting in 2000, Ting is a small company that produces the most luxurious, futuristic products that are an iconic example of how sustainability really can be sexy! Using reclaimed materials including belts, braces, vintage saddles and of course seat belts, they create 3 main collections. Luxury Leather Bags & Wallets, Home and Interior accessories such as Cushions, Cube Seats and Hammocks, and their Orange Label which is a range of bags made out of Seat Belts!!
Inghua graduated from the Royal College of Art, then worked in Japan developing innovative, futuristic fabrics, whilst there, she started thinking about sustainability issues, and how she could incorporate fabulous designs with sustainability. The result of this thinking was 'Ting', and I'm sure you will agree, she has succeeded!
Ting have been featured in publications such as The New York Times, GQ, Grazia and many more. If you get the feeling you have seen these designs before, you have, Ting designs were featured in Big Brother! Other commissions include Pilzner, Warner Bros, Other Film & TV companies, Endemol, Sketch Restaurant and Bar!
