Secret at the End of the Garden
These are the gardens to a modern terraced house in a quiet cul-de-sac in Carshalton, Surrey.

These are the front and rear gardens to a double-fronted, period property in Sydenham. Its owners had spent a lot of time renovating the property and wanted to bring the gardens up to the same standard.

Our clients had fond memories of holidays in the Mediterranean and wanted to recreate that warm feeling in their own garden.

Small Courtyard for a Lady of Leisure
Our client wanted an interesting, easy to look after patio garden with a traditional feel, but did not want a symmetrical design typical of many such schemes. She wanted something a bit ‘different’.

Our clients wanted an elegant dining area making the best use of the space and in a style in keeping with the property and its interiors.

Our brief was for a practical space our clients could use to relax and entertain in, but the plot was divided awkwardly by a step making use of a table and chairs impossible.

This was the invaluable outside space that came with our clients’ garden flat in a prestigious area of London but it was impractical for the young family.
Our clients requested a practical, but beautiful design with real ‘wow’ factor.

Our clients have adjoining patio gardens opening out onto a communal space serving a number of apartments. Unfortunately the developers had laid only a small amount of uninteresting paving.

The owner of this small courtyard garden is a musician who spends much of his time travelling, he therefore needed a low maintenance scheme, but with the ‘wow’ factor to welcome him home.
We needed to incorporate his bespoke smoker/barbecue and a large table with benches for his frequent entertaining.

This was a suburban garden on a steeply sloping site, rising up at the back of the house via some very steep steps, rendering much of the garden unusable.

Our first concern with this garden was to give our clients the security and privacy they needed but as this was a listed building, we had first to approach the local council for permissions.

This was a new build property and the garden was typically very small, laid to lawn with a few paving slabs outside the back door.

Our clients had fond memories of holidays in the south of France and wanted to re-create something of a rustic French feel in their tiny London garden, using materials to suit the age of their property.

This was a small suburban garden who's owners wanted to also turn a small garage into a gym that overlooked the garden.
