Hampton Court Success!!
After everyone's hard work and enthusiasm, we are thrilled to have received a Winning Medal from the Royal Horticultural Society, it was a pleasure to be involved in this very successful Garden Show.
About the Garden
The garden, called 'Sustainability Can be Sexy', was intended for a family with young children with an emphasis on sustainability and practicality - to incorporate renewable energy and to use recycled products wherever possible. However, the brief was to achieve a contemporary feel and not the 'Heath Robinson' effect often associated with eco-friendly gardens.
We also ensured there were opportunities for play, entertaining and relaxation. The garden was fairly low-maintenance but with good year-round interest and giving the opportunity to grow a few vegetables. There was also scope for composting and water saving.
