Our clients’ worldwide travels inspired this stunning transformation. They liked a
cottage garden feel, but were also taken with the many Islamic style gardens they
have visited and wanted to bring some of that atmosphere to their own outside
space.
The trick was to incorporate elements of both in a pleasing and integrated
way, so we designed this tiled water feature and the surrounding raised planting
beds painted in a vibrant blue to reflect their travels, and the rest of the garden has
been given a curvy design with seating areas at both ends, with old fashioned
cottage garden plants filling the easy to maintain raised beds, but with jewel colours
linking the two styles.
