Walking in the wilderness
Our client asked us to create a wild walkway through their garden to add some intrigue to their outside space.
To create the winding path we used composite decking, keeping that wild feeling whilst adding some texture. We then sourced a variety of tree stumps to create formations in between the spaced out planting areas to add another dimension.
For the planting we went for a complimentary but varied approach, with hostas adding leafy colour, the rich tones of the acer adding a lovely contrast to the greens of surrounding plants and finally the dramatic addition of tree ferns to add height and a real rainforest feel.
To finish the space we added in spaced out garden lighting to make the path a fun edition for evening entertaining.
