So here, as promised, are some more of our Costa Rican photos to show how you can recreate that tropical feel in your own garden, with plants you can either grow outside in a sheltered spot all year round, or which you can put out in the garden, as we do, during the milder months of summer, as long as they are protected from frost in winter.

All of the above can be grown outside in the UK if you have a warm, sunny and sheltered spot.
The ones below would need bringing inside in winter.
Then there’s a whole load of plants from our trip I haven’t yet identified, so stay tuned and next week I’ll post their portraits and you can let me know what they are!
